Diana’s life was short, but her legacy still lasts today and is carried forward by Prince William’s fashion-forward wife Kathrine. Known as the “People’s Princess” because she was beloved by so many throughout the world, Diana was not only an advocate humanity and the everyday people in society, she had a superior sense of style that influenced fashion. Over the years, Diana transformed from a style amateur who let royal advisors choose her clothing to a self-assured, sophisticated, yet modern icon who enjoyed incorporating bright colors and luxurious materials, such as satin and lace, into her wardrobe.
